If you need community, a place to hear the true Word of God, and to encounter the Holy Spirit - Arise Church is it. The heart of this church is to see people changed by the love of Jesus, and to do it together. I am so thankful for the people here who constantly lift me up and push me to be the best version of myself. I also love how real everyone is here. There isn't a need to be the "perfect" Christian or to have everything all together. The conversations are real, the messages bring truth (not an opinion), and there isn't a push to be something they are not. My children also love the Sunday school classes and have learned so much about the word of God. Sunday is their favorite day just because we get to go to church. Love this church so much! I have watched as the congregation that now makes up Arise Church has grown in faith as well as numerically! Pastor Ty has now been here 3 years and the joy and expectations have risen as our love for God, His Word and each other has continued to increase. The church reflects both the diverse ethnicities of the community as well as being honoring of the multi generations! God is praised and exalted in the worship, the Word is preached uncompromisingly and there are testimonies declaring the present active workings of God through the Holy Spirit! As we are lifting up the name of Jesus, He indeed is drawing men and women to Himself! In my first time visiting, I experienced genuine people who really seem to enjoy worshipping God, living out their faith, and building each other up. The music style was exuberant, but not too loud. The sound mix emphasized the vocals, which I really appreciated. The pastor seems to really love and care for his people, and the people seem to be welcoming and caring. You may also appreciate this local body of believers. Women's Christmas Tea was delightful. Full of cheer and spirit of holiness! What a beautiful place to worship. Plenty of parking, the church was very modern and clean but, above all, the people were so welcoming. If I lived in Apex, I would go there. The pastor is a very joyous and loving man of God. His sermon was biblical, inspirational and memorable.
