What visitors say

We visited Good Hope and felt a warm welcome by the people at the church. When we walked through the doors we had about 10 different people welcome us and say hello. When we dropped off the kids in the children’s ministry we felt comfortable and confident with the team of volunteers. We walked into the main service and when we turned to greet someone, people noted that they hadn’t seen us before and came up to greet us. This was the most known and seen I have felt going to a church. While we aren’t able to stay in the area with changing jobs and being moved around we won’t forget this experience. The people at Good Hope show they care and are creating eternal impact. I attended Good Hope from 2011 (when I graduated college) to 2017 (when I moved out of state). I was baptized in the most beautiful chapel surrounded by the most welcoming and caring people. They were like my family, as my own family are out of state. I attended church and young adult Bible study here for those six wonderful years, and leaving was one of the hardest things I ever did BECAUSE of the community at Good Hope. I hated leaving them. Fast forward to 2025, I’ve just moved back to the area in August and have 8 years of growth and life experience and a service dog in tow. They have welcomed me back with open arms, and have loved my service animal so unconditionally as well. We went to Good Hope our first two months back here, but the past few we’ve been doing some traveling mostly for work so have only been able to listen to the messages online. Once things calm down in the new year, I can’t wait to get myself and my dog back and dive into our beloved community. I can’t say enough good things about Good Hope and the amazing people serving God, each other, and the community there. To attend here is to be loved here and be a part of an amazing chosen family. My husband and I found Good Hope after recently moving to the research triangle from Michigan. We had been to other churches in the area prior to Good Hope, but Good Hope by far was the most welcoming and active church we’ve seen since moving to NC and we wish we had found them sooner! GH is also the most diverse church we’ve personally been to with 27 nations represented in the church population. You instantly feel like family when you visit. My husband and I were searching for a scripturally sound church with a bible study geared to our current stage of life as young newlyweds. Some churches we visited lacked such a group and tended to lump us with high schoolers. We were very excited to learn that GH had an active and friendly young adults (20+) bible study group with 30-50 members fellowshipping each Wednesday night. There are tons of opportunities to volunteer and mingle every single week and seasonal activities as well such as our fall retreat and Christmas party. If you’re looking for a new church home look no further and come visit Good Hope! Great preaching from the Word of God (10:30-1200) Sunday school classes (9-10:15) A variety of activities for children and yourh Pastor Scott and Luanne Adams sure does have an awesome way of keeping us engaged in God's word! Each Wednesday night, I am always so excited to hear what Pastor Scott has to share when I login to Zoom. Thank you for everything Good Hope Baptist Church! You can bet that the town of Cary is absolutely on my destination list if I head to North Carolina one day! Huge blessings from your California pal, Aaron Yang
