Excellent middle-road (between liberal and conservative, maybe wee bit more on conservative side) Evangelical Free Church of America small community church (the only EFCA in the triangle region). ESV Bible translation usage. Modern Christian songs in lieu of hymnal. Communion regularly, but not every week. Biblical doctrine is sound - sermons use many direct Biblical references, as well as a tiny bit of delving into some Greek/Hebrew words once in a while. Sunday school for adults before service during non-summer months feels like light seminary school. Small children's youth section, but we definitely need more kiddos so it can grow. Drop-in daycare is provided for youngins for the service if you prefer, but don't have to utilize. Everyone is extremely extremely kind and welcoming with that small community, family feel. We've been attending Trinity Community Church for 10+ years and we enjoy the friends and fellowship there. The preaching is deeply Biblical. Come check us out!!
