My daughter introduced me to this wonderful church and now I attend more often than she does....I love it! Whether it's the head minister or a summer sub, the sermon is always meaningful and often laced with humor, allowing us to laugh amidst serious topics. Great music is always featured, from the choir to pianists to guitar players--and attendees often sing joyfully along. Loving. And more then accepting, nurturing actually to me as a gender non confirming human so must be a kind and safe place for others dealing with marginalization and violence This is a wonderful place to examine your own beliefs and spirituality. It is a UU church that encourages people to continually search for their own meaning. People of the church are open to all and support a wide range of social justice issues. The staff is amazing. And if you are looking for a church with great music opportunities, this is the one. Also a great children’s program. Have seen several music concerts here. Parking can be tight but they squeeze everyone in. Nice room for concerts, big and open with good acoustics. At intermission the church sells homemade desserts and coffee. Friendly place and people. The people at this church are very welcoming and inclusive. There are a number of great programs such as the covenant groups, woman's group, and activities. Most of all, the sermons are inspiring. The minister (Tom) goes to great lengths to make sure that what he says is clear and organized so that I can easily understand his points and think about what he has said throughout the week. After attending a service I leave feeling that my life has been made better.
