Very Friendly accepting of all who enter their doors. Pastor Val is awesome and welcomes all regardless of their race,religion,or economic status. The church has a large homeless ministry that is open to all on Sunday morning First United Methodist means so much to me and my family. It truly is a home away from home. It is a beacon in the heart of the city promoting and standing up for justice for ALL. If you truly want to be part of a congregation who supports the community, the entire community, then First United Methodist is the place for you!! LOVE. The best daycare hands down. They support you with Everything and understand you and your child as humans and not just as $$. They try their best to do their best and always make you feel like family and never a burden. I love this school and my son went here for almost 3 years and since then i had twin and a newborn and they would be there as well but currently they have a wait list. They are worth the $. The director is kind and personable and the teachers are beyond loving. If you make your way to the top of the list GO!!! The best child care hands down. The only place I can trust in terms of safety, nutrition and education. Their playground is well kept. All teachers are highly educated. And mu child is happy to go there every day. I am singing in The Messiah on the 15th and really looking forward to it. It's free there is an offer plate that goes around. The money goes to music scholarships for kids in music here in Charlotte.
