Very friendly. Was greeted at front door with smiles and blessings. Then as I walked in the main area, I was greeted again and asked if I knew where I wanted to sit. When I said No. Lucy suggested I sit beside her! EVERYONE was so friendly and inviting. It was a wonderful time with Gods people. The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at a church. When I walked in I thought I was at a Funeral home. It felt sad and heavy. It really gave me concern. The “lead” pastor is the wife and is somehow worshipped in that place. I was not impressed and felt a horrible spirit coming from her. I’m not judging. The Bible said you will know them by their fruits. She was bossy, spoke down to people , and elevated herself as Gods prophet… FALSE! I was a guest of a friend and was there for prayer at the urging of my friend. The pastor called me up on stage to pray for me ( cancer patient) and reprimanded me in front of everyone for responding to the Holy Spirit yet she carried on like crazy and is the only one allowed to do that. So there is no freedom for anyone but her. She called out another gal in the congregation for crying and told her to dry it up. When I was walking out one of her staff ran after me and wouldn’t let me leave. They said the pastor wanted a word with me. I told them I was not interested and they kept insisting. I finally got away from them and knew I’d never be back. This was my daughter and I second Sunday attending this church. I was brought here by a friend. She was bragging so much on this church, I expected better. First, the pastor's wife who now is in charge because her husband died in September of 2024, started speaking about money. She bragged about paying $150,000 to this church. Then she single-handedly started pointing to her congregation and calling out different individuals about what they should have done with their money and seeded more into the church. She made us raise our hands and wiggle our fingers, after she made one lady put up her hands, who has deformed hands w/no fingers and used her as an example! 😱😱😱 She talked about a man's shoes and said, "they were hideous. And if you were to wear those shoes again. I know you are not offended by what I said!"😱😱😱.. She called out a woman and spoke on her being deformed, and basically blamed her for being deformed as if it was her fault! She made the congregation stand up and was chastising us as if we were children and said; "we needed to give more! She bragged about not going to rooms To Go and buying her furniture as if she was better than us! Mind you everyone cannot afford expensive furniture. She bragged about selling her beach house and a big house, she once owned! 😱😱😱🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ One guy was called out from the congregation about spending HIS amount of money for medical research. She chastised him about doing that, and responded with; "you could have spent this money on the carpet in the church here. She made some of the people in her congregation get up and say how much money they spent and told them they should have spent more!😱😱😱 Her son-in-law stood up and he talked about the way he lost. She made a black woman stand up, look at her and said, "I know you are not happy carrying around all that weight!" My mouth flew open! 😱😱😱😱 My daughter got up and went to the bathroom. The pastor's wife told us that we will be sitting still. She looked at me and said,"there will be no swaying back and forth in your seat and everyone will need to sit still!" She called me out in front of everyone in the church and TRIED to embarrass me! I turned and looked at the woman who brought me to this church, and said, "I know she's not talking to me!" The pastor's wife said, "I am talking to you!"😱😱😱😱 I said, "I am swaying for a reason." She told me, "I had no reason to sway." I told her, "you don't know what I'm going through and what I've been through. I was sleepy and I live in a neighborhood where they shoot every day and I'm dealing with neighbors who make noise all night! I choose to get up and come to church to hear the word of God." The pastor's wife said to me, "well, I have been up all night and I'm not swaying." I told her, "that's your body not mine." She got mad at me and told me that I can sit in the back of the church and she had the nerve to say I was being disrespectful! I never cursed or raised my voice. One of the ladies grabbed my arm and tried to pull me from my seat! I told her, " I am grown do not touch me. The pastor's wife and the ushers started screaming at me and told me, " I can leave the church, you are no longer welcome here!" I told them, "I am anointed and I am a woman of God. You called that black lady out and embarrassed her about her weight!" The pastor's wife tried to deny it and I said as I was being escorted out, "look at her she's not even smiling, her head is down!" I told that black lady to, "take her and her beautiful black children out of this church and come on over to THE PRAISING PLACE!" The pastor's wife didn't like what I said and was standing up to her bullying me! When I told the black lady to come on over to the church I attend that's when one of the ushers from in the front trie to come in my face and kept threatening me with calling the cops and screaming at me yelling, "GET OUT, GET OUT!" I had four white ushers hovering over me yelling and disrespecting me! 😱😱😱😱 There is no joy in anyone's eyes at this church. The children look scared This church has changed my life. I love my pastors and my fellow church bodies with all my heart. I experienced miracles and growth in my life. Much love to you pastor with all my heart!❤️ This Church is life changing! I never knew what REAL authentic LOVE was until I walked through these doors... The Love of God is tangible, His presence is Powerful and undeniable, and the truths that we have need of as The Body of Christ are taught without compromise... when you come with open eyes, listening ears, a receptive heart and a true hunger for the things of GOD, your life will be impacted and you’ll start standing in your rightful place that God always intended His Children to!
