What visitors say
A neighborhood church in the heart of Plaza Midwood that stands on sound doctrine and a beautiful sense of community, with an earnest desire to grow closer to the Lord. Outside of the regular Sunday service the church has midweek gatherings on Wednesday evenings, Sunday morning bible study, childcare for parents attending morning services, and a preschool program. I would highly recommend stopping in and saying hello one Sunday to see for yourself. Awesome old school church. Very friendly crowd with a great mix of generations. The pastor was relevant and interesting. We love Midwood Baptist Church ⛪️!! All ages are welcome! We are prayerful & the new minister encourages all to follow Jesus Christ daily & always gives ways to do that from The Word of God !!! Amazing House of the Lord!!! We love this church. Pastor John preaches the word of God, with conviction and grace. The community of believers love God and people, and it shows. If you’re searching for a church home, or if you’re trying to discover who God is, this is a beautiful body of believers to join. I really appreciate pastor John and respect everyone in my Sunday school class. Very knowledgeable. If you have the need to feel some love and spirit, This fellowship will give you some. Shon Henderson.
