I love this church. We’ve been members for 20+ years and made lifelong friendships there. From unique educational programs to beautiful worship services and heartwarming outreach opportunities-there’s something for everyone in this church community. My favorites are pickleball, book clubs, needlepoint time and recently - Mahjong! This is a great church! It is welcoming and affirming to all people. My wife and I were welcomed in over 20 years ago when gay people were not accepted at many churches. They not only welcomed us but asked us to serve in leadership roles! I am forever grateful to the people that make up MPBC! I have never attended the church but impressed with their progressive views and inclusive attitude. I am also pleased the church has been renamed as to avoid any speculation it is a traditional Southern Baptist Church. Kudos to the members and staff for a bold challenging step. I would like to visit someday and personally experience the membership Myers Park Baptist Church is such a welcoming and friendly church where everyone is truly accepted. They offer wonderful events throughout the year that help people connect, serve, and grow together. The Spiritual growth classes are thoughtful and engaging. It’s a great place to grow in faith and feel part of a community. Myers Park Baptist is a progressive church that welcomes diversity and is open to all. We have enjoyed that diversity and have been challenged from the pulpit. The community aspects of Myers Park has been great for my family.
