Joining PBC has been such a blessing for our family! It’s truly a breath of fresh air and an uplifting place to grow in faith. Our kids absolutely love the children’s ministry, especially Ms. Elizabeth and the choir teams. Wednesday night dinners have become a staple for fellowship, and we’re so grateful for the welcoming community. We can’t wait to get even more involved in outreach and development. If you’re looking for a church that feels like home, this is it! Providence Baptist is a place where your faith will thrive. If you have children, you’re in for a treat, PBC has an outstanding kids’ ministry. Engaging Lessons: The children’s program offers age-appropriate lessons that are both fun and educational. They use creative methods to teach biblical principles. Caring Volunteers: The volunteers genuinely care about the kids. They take the time to connect with each child, making them feel valued and loved. Safe Environment: Safety is a top priority. The check-in process is efficient, and the facilities are secure. Providence is a caring, active community of believers! We have so many programs for people of all ages. Our children can participate in choirs, a wonderful Vacation Bible School, a special Christmas Eve service just for them, sports programs and RA's/GA's on Wednesday nights to name a few. Teenagers have similar programs and an educational, but fun event on Sunday nights. Adults can play basketball or pickleball, attend classes on Wednesday nights such as book club or prayer discussions, or volunteer for our Room In The Inn program or missions projects. The best part of Providence is the welcoming atmosphere provided by members. I love my church! Having grown up in this fantastic church, I am bias. However, after living throughout the Charlotte area for the past decade, our family has visited and attended other churches that were closer to our home. We are back at Providence Baptist Church because it is home. The people are engaged, friendly and there are no expectations. Come as you are. I was never great at bible drills so I also appreciate that I will not get called out to read bible versus! The children's programming is incredible. As new parents, my wife and I were excited to have a few minutes to go to a traditional feeling worship service and know that our babies were looked after by loving church members. Come check out why Providence Baptist is so special! We have been members since 1978. Our church family is very important to us. We have great Sunday morning faith formation classes for all ages and meaningful worship experiences. Our church is mission minded. Join us if you want to make a difference in our community.
