I’m a previous member of Resurrection but it was resurrection Lutheran church back then. I started going to Rez when pastor Mirly was senior pastor. Then Pastor Dave came along and Mike Bailey would do occasionally Wednesday nite services. The newer part of the church wasn’t even built yet so that tells you it was back in early 70s. I think 1974 was the first time I visited there. From the first visit I knew I wanted to be a part of the church and in a permanent way. I wanted what everyone else there had. I stayed there at Resurrection until 2014 when my wife went home to be with the Lord. Honestly I miss the greatest church of my life. I was a member of the singing group with Dr Daley. Being part of the group helped me so much and I gained so much inner strength being part of that body. I want to come back and i hope to in the next couple weeks. There is no place like home. This church was my home church. When someone that has been a member leaves they always remember their roots. This church was the reason I grew in Christ. I’ve made my share of mistakes and have always bounced back thanks to my elder my deacon and the Monday night cell groups we had. They were vital in my growth. I can never forget the people i became friends with and the wonderful atmosphere this church exudes with the freshness of love and honesty in people. Yeah I miss this church. I miss the fellowship God bless Resurrection Church and all of the people that go there. When anyone visits if only one time they leave with the experience of knowing that they want to come back Beautiful church with very warm and welcoming congregation. Highly recommended. This is a God place. Truth without apologizing. True ambassadors. A wonderful mix of liturgical and modern service. If you are traveling thru or living in the area, well worth the experience. I loved this church been here before I will be back it was amazing and there is some loving people ❤️ Wonderful place to worship the Lord!! Love my church family!
