We spent several years visiting different churches before finally finding our home at Newsong. For the past six years, it has been a place where we’ve grown both spiritually and personally. Our kids love their classes—they come out excited, telling us stories about Jesus and proudly showing the art they made that day. The staff, leaders, and deacons are Spirit‑led and deeply committed to the truth of God’s Word and how it shapes everyday life. This isn’t a “talk at you” church. It’s a “teach you something meaningful and invite you to respond” church. Sunday mornings are just the beginning. There truly is something for every age and every member of our family. After going through a challenging journey, we found ourselves back in NC 8 years ago looking for a church home to just be a part of and heal. Newsong was the 2nd church we visited, and we've been attending ever since. No church is perfect, but the heart of the founding pastors to love Jesus and love people was amazing. This focus on Jesus and people continues as the church has had an amazing and healthy transition in the past year to our current pastor as the founding pastors retired. Something that really speaks volumes, my oldest son misses Newsong now that he's away at college. This is a great place to see what God wants to do in your life. Phenomenal church! From my very first visit, I was impressed by how many multi-generational families attend—grandparents, adult children, and little ones all worshiping together. That alone says so much about the heart of this church: a place for everyone. They have a strong focus on prayer, the Word, worship, and community. Loved it from day one, been coming ever since! When we first moved to North Carolina we found NewSong in Cornelius and found more than a church, we found a community who loves Jesus and is inspired to love others. From the very first time my family walked through the doors of Newsong Church, it felt like home. There was a different atmosphere in the room, one of genuine love and it came from the top down. These Pastors truly care for their people and want to help guide everyone into their gifts and callings. The worship is sweet, spirit led and Jesus centered. Here at Newsong Church, they preach the Word. It can be tough to try to cram a deep life changing message into a Sunday morning, but I find myself week after week, thinking and meditating on what was taught and find that it leads me back to my Bible yearning for more. I would encourage anyone to come check it out for themselves.
