Just moved to Durham from Kansas City & visited this church it was our 2nd visit . The first visit was cool but our 2nd visit We were running 15 min late . & arrived 3 min after the kids service “closed” . I tried to sign my 4 yr old in but was told it closed 3 min ago and she can’t come in the kids class ? My daughter was sooooo excited to interact with other kids & go to her class . I had no idea that was even a thing ? Again this is only our 2nd time visiting. To turn a kid away because we are 3 min late ? lol this is church . Idk that bothered me a lot , I don’t think I’ll be returning . This a highly anointed ministry..I invite anyone new to the area and looking for an experience, and/or encounter with God, come check out Kings Park. You won't regret it. However, You will thank me later. Come 9am or 11am. Hope to see you there! It is a multicultural place that is welcoming to everyone—a place where you can learn more about God and His Word, and experience a warm, family-like atmosphere filled with love from everyone there. I absolutely LOVE this church so much! This is by far the best church I have ever attended. The people are very loving and make you feel right at home. The worship and preaching are amazing! You will experience God here! It is an extremely diverse community with people from many different nations, races, ethnicities, and age ranges. The teaching and doctrine is very Christ-centered and biblical. This church is great for anyone looking to know more about God and great for very mature Christians alike. You will love this church! I love the diversity and how loving people are to one another. I also embrace the mission of KPIC, to know God, grow together, discover purpose, and make a difference. All of the parts of the mission statement take place at KPIC. We learn more about God through Sunday morning services and through classes offered. We grow together at church and in life groups. We discover purpose through the growth track classes and as we grow together. And we make a difference by taking part in things that help others in some way, even if it just means showing them that they are loved and that they matter.
