I came to CLF 22 years ago but I’ve known the core leadership now for nearly 30 years overall. I will readily admit that due to sin in my own life, I only stayed for a couple of years, and then left for almost 10 years. When I left the church I was dealing with a number of things that I was unwilling to let go of and was in disobedience towards God. That being said, when I came back, I expected some level of anger, but instead what I received was the love of God. I’ve been by back for over a decade now and it’s where I am happily raising my family. Is the leadership perfect? No. But are any of us? “ Perfection is to be strived for but not obtained.” What I have experienced at CLF is a sincere striving to bring honor and glory to the One True God. If you are looking for family, you will find it here. This church is made up of real people living out a real walk. More than trusting them with my life, I am trusting them with my family. If you are looking for the “perfect” church this isn’t it- and that doesn’t exist. There is no perfection where humanity is involved. But if you are looking for people who are real, and who love God, and where the presence of God is- you’ll find it at CLF. If you are reading this- I hope to see you soon! I know there are other Churches in Raleigh but this one is just special, it is so obvious that the Holy spirit is there i went to after hours and people were praying in tongues and just filled with the Holy spirit. Pastor Scott had a really amazing sermon about speaking in tongues and about the Holy spirit. (I'm not sure if you can listen to it on Facebook) I really wish I could come every Sunday. Not the church for me. My initial review was done at a time of hurt and offense. Although many things I’ve said were true. The way I presented them were not godly. There’s a difference between telling the truth and telling the truth “In Love” This church is not my enemy. Many of times we as people clump people who have hurt us as enemies. But if you go look up the word “Enemy” you will find the people of the church do not fall in that category. The enemy here is satan who wants to cause division in the church. After 5 months of the Lord working on me I have to be obedient and apologize for my choice of words when it came to the hurt that was cause to me by this church. I don’t know why I was treated the way I was treated by this church but I do know that as brothers and sisters in Christ we are to be obedient to the word of God. “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” Romans 12:18 NIV Leave the door open for reconciliation. No that does not mean agree with everything this church believes. They will have to answer to the Lord one day for theirs. We will have to answer for ours. Our job is to love one another. Even if they don't love you back. Because when I betrayed Christ, when I cussed him out. When I rejected him. He still chose me. He still made the choice to love me despite it all! We are called to be like him. This church is made up of humans. None perfect. I was treated the way I was treated because they didn’t know me. They don’t know better. It took me years to know that! I had lots of growing to do myself. There are some beautiful hearts in this church. But this church was not for me. This church is a great representation of what heaven should look like on earth. This church really works with you not only just in groups but also individually. This church is heavy on family and amazing friendships. They encourage you without pressure to increase your capacity and capabilities with your walk with God. You’ll find a home a sanctuary, where you can receive nothing but therapeutic love. The presence of the Lord is most definitely there. I’ll will most likely be there for the rest of my life. I’ve been attending Christian Life Fellowship (CLF) since 2012, and it has truly transformed my life. This church is a welcoming, diverse community where people from all backgrounds come together to worship and grow in faith. The genuine relationships I’ve built here have been a source of strength and encouragement. CLF’s commitment to making disciples and serving the community is evident in everything they do. If you’re looking for a place to experience God’s presence and be part of a loving family, I highly recommend CLF.
