This is a great church that we've been watching online as a family for years. I've been to multiple campuses, all of which have been amazing in their own way. The Raleigh Campus has some of the sweetest, kindest people. Coming in, my daughter and I felt so welcomed. The preaching and music got us on our feet and praising Jesus! I remember this used to be an open space that looked natural and nice. It would have been great if it had been turned into a park for everyone to use. The new building doesn’t fit the area and honestly looks like a gray box, more like a warehouse than something that belongs there. Visited for Easter Sunday for the first time. While I’m sure there’s lots of lovely people that attend regularly, it’s definitely not a place to go to feel close to God. The pastor acts more like a motivational speaker/celebrity and his sermon (if you can even call it that) had absolutely no substance. He repeated the same two lines of scripture 10 times and gave an extremely surface-level talk. The music is obnoxiously loud, to the point where you wish you had ear plugs. It feels like a MLM rather than a church. The pastor has 4 million insta followers that buy his books and support his lavish lifestyle and he gives what in return? I’d urge people who are serious about their spirituality and relationship to God to find another church that is truly centered on Christ’s teachings. Christ would be appalled at this performative, profit-focused organization. Great sermon and music at the Raleigh location we visited this past Sunday. My Apple Watch went off and said I was at Elevation Worship and the decibel was over 90! I thought it was loud… apparently I was right😎 So welcoming! Praise and worship exceptional. I love the sermons from Pastor Steven Furtick
