Hosea started right before Covid. Up and downs trying to navigate and get their get under them. Now, it's a strong growing church that started with a college or young family focus that parlayed into a multi-generational church that has no racial divide. Great preaching, great music, and an inviting time of prayer. If I was looking for a place to connect and find solid friends who love God, this is the place! It's been 8 months and love it. I love Hosea Church! I recently moved to Raleigh and quickly found a home here. Hosea preaches truth from the Bible and the community truly lives it out! It has been a safe place for me to grow in my relationship with God, specifically in my small group— I have never felt more loved by a group of people before. I would recommend this church to anyone! Hosea has a very special place in my heart. I have experienced being loved immensely by the people here at Hosea, and I have also been deeply challenged. I came to Hosea thinking I was a follower of Jesus. Boy was I wrong. If you want to sit in on a service, listen to feel-good preaching, slip out the back of the building after it's over and avoid talking to people just to check off your cultural Christian box so you can feel better about yourself and skirt accountability, Hosea is NOT the place for you. If you're curious about who God is, if you're hurting and need support, if you want to join others in worshipping Jesus, and if you actually want to grow by listening to convicting Bible-based teaching, then Hosea IS the place for you. The people at this church love Jesus, and they're not afraid of showing it. I dare you to come on a Sunday; you won't look back. We also have free donuts and coffee! I’ve found Hosea to be a very loving and intentional community, who are all devoted to growing closer to Jesus! The teachings are Biblical, Gospel-centered, and applicable! The most growth I’ve found is being in a Small Group - highly recommend, even though it may be uncomfortable at first. 10/10 After lots of searching, I can confidently say Hosea is hands down the most authentic, communal, and Jesus-driven church I have ever attended. If you're looking for a church to grow spiritually at with other sold-out believers, whose hearts are steadfast on the Lord, then get here Sunday. This House is special!
