I find this church to be warm and welcoming. It has many ministries to enjoy including worship and music; group studies to attend including Sunday School classes, Bible studies, etc; and missions to share. We are very open to people who are new in the area and interested in children and youth ministries. In fact, we just added an additional minister for children and youth. All in all, I seem to find my best friends at church. Come join us. You will love it here! PS. New childrens ministry is taking place! I have been regularly attending North Raleigh United Methodist Church (NRUMC) for about 8 months now. I consistently find this congregation and their leadership full of warmth, love, and a welcoming spirit. There are so many diverse opportunities here to grow in Christian faith and to fellowship with other people of all ages (young children through older adults). I’m currently vested in their powerful music programs and will soon be expanding my participation here as being apart of this congregation is so meaningful and special to me. I invite others to please come join me in this lovely and enriching faith community. My favorite ministry here is the mission work that is both local as well as internationally. Our involvement in the organizations we support means the world to me. I get more out of going and sharing the love of Christ than the actual mission work itself. I am involved in our international missions (Peru and Mexico) and it is a great opportunity to see the world and develop friendships with other believers. I see God working at NRUMC through the faces of the people of the church. We're growing. We have new and old faces. We have awesome worship services and one of the best music programs I've ever seen, but there is truly opportunity to build community and serve. Christ calls us to make disciples of all the world and the best place to start is right here in your own backyard. We have so many missional service opportunities that utilize the gifts God has given us and shares the love of Christ throughout the greater community. Come check us out - we have families of all ages and fantastic ways to engage, be fed and to share the love of Christ! North Raleigh United Methodist Church has been a wonderful fit for my family over the last 17 years. We have loved the preschool, kids, and youth programs for our daughter! As parents, we have found a Sunday School class that is welcome all who are interested and appreciates various viewpoints and questions. There are so many ways to get connected and serve!
