Southern Hills Church will always hold such a special place in our hearts. It was the very first church we attended together in Las Vegas, and truly the starting point where our faith was deeply rooted and began to grow in a whole new way. We were part of this community for a full year and had the opportunity to go through three incredible programs—Alpha, Rooted, and The Art of Marriage—all of which impacted us in meaningful and lasting ways. We also were Baptized in 2025! Each experience helped strengthen not only our relationship with God, but also with each other. The pastors here are exceptional leaders who clearly take their calling seriously. They speak with such elegance, clarity, and conviction—you can feel their heart for the Lord in every message. Josh Teis, the lead pastor, in particular, is absolutely spectacular with his sermon series. The worship team is great, the sermons are powerful, shoutout to all the teams working behind the scenes to create seamless experiences and the sense of community is something we will always appreciated. We built genuine friendships here that we’ll carry with us. Although the Lord has called us to relocate, Southern Hills has truly set the bar so high as we search for our next church home. We will always consider SH our home church. We still tune into the LIVE service :) , and whenever we’re back in Vegas, visiting will be a must & scheduling a Coffee and Chat with the pastors. We are beyond grateful for this church and the role it has played in our lives. Love you all ❤️ As someone who shys away from becoming apart of the church and just attends, I had my first true spirtual experience through one of the whom I assumed is a leader of the church, I had seen this young woman worshipping Jesus onstage and it was an experience like no other, you can tell she moved with our Fathers spirit. After service, I caught her for a moment as she was clustered between greeting a bunch of church goers, and stopped to ask her about how she was able to have the Lord move so thourougly through her, after I had asked the question, she stopped before answering and asked me my name, she introduced herself and then went into answering, something about that is just so much like our Father. I had asked her what was it about Southernhills that made her start leading here. She told me "Calling me a leader is such an honor, but I am simply just a servant of God." wow. As weeks went on, I don't come as often as I should, but when I do, i've begun dropping my little ones off at the kids group for them to learn about God while I am in the main service. My child came up to me after church and told me "The princess with the red hair streak sung for us today!" and asked me if she had personally known Jesus. While I may be only speaking upon one person, I believe it is important that people like that are at the gates of coming to the church, as that experience created a place for me to start making real time to attend, real time to spend with God, and now my child thinks that Southern Hills has a disney princess/one of Jesus's close friends not only pouring into the adults of the church, but to the children too. What a beautiful Church, with an incredible Pastor, and an incredible team. Thank you to Mckenzie and to the many ministries you serve in, as you opened a door to my family finding a home at SouthernHills. Pastor Josh, Pastor Caleb are so personable and wonderful to talk to. The members really make you feel at home. I have gone to many different churches, the Deacons were coming up to me and introducing themselves and shaking my hand which is a first in my book. We were in Vegas for trade shows and well Sunday came and we were missing our Church back home in Louisiana. So we took to Google and Southern Hills popped up. All I can say is this Church is AMAZING!! Super high energy from everyone and the preaching was AWESOME!! Thanks so much for making us feel like we were part of your community! We will definitely be back next year and when ever we are in town! I wish I could give you more stars but it only goes to 5!! I love this church. Pastor is so funny & engaging you dont even notice the time when you're here. Best Church I have ever been to!
