The Word Is Strong here! Yet there seems to be a dresscode that as a newbie one is unaware.women Dresses, no makeup, no jewelry. I am interested in learning more. However, some on the praise team - Although dresses, very Very tight and form revealing. I am not sure. Confusing From the moment we entered the parking lot at Tree of Life Church, we were embraced by a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the undeniable presence of God. As we approached the entrance, the friendly smiles and open doors of the greeters made us feel right at home. The entire congregation radiated kindness and joy. The worship experience was incredible—led by an anointed praise team and talented musicians, who truly ushered in the presence of God. Pastor Joel Urshan’s sermon was powerful and full of truth, leaving us inspired and uplifted. If you’re searching for a church where you can encounter God and be part of a loving community, look no further—Tree of Life is where you belong! The music was great. The messages were great. The building is beautiful and well lit. The bassist plays a Fender. That alone is worth four stars. Those are all positives. We went three times and never heard the Senior Pastor preach. He looked like Joel Osteen with a robot arm, and a wore a suit that probably cost more than a used Toyota Camry. If you are seeking the presence of Jesus then please stop by. You will feel His great Power and Peace at this church. It is truly a place of healing and love. The church is loving and accepting of everyone and is very multicultural! The senior pastor thinks he knows why people cry at his church, e.g. sermons on The Cure for the Lukewarm Condition & Golden Head Syndrome. I was crying on the first service I attended. On the next service, he denounced crying. Then, the Spirit led me to watch The Cure...where he was mocking people who cry in church! I was crying because 4 members of my family had died since the pandemic started, one each year, with my mother dying just this past May. I was mourning, I am the only one left in my family line. Also, I was crying because I was so happy I thought I finally found a church to go to after 9 years, tears of joy. I was born again 10 years ago, repented of drinking, smoking, fornication, among other sins and resisting every single day to all temptations. I have been baptized and giving out gospel tracts in parks, stores, streets, and other public places. I was not crying at that time because I felt sorry for my sins and not repented, and pretending I am good on Sundays. I forgive the pastor for his assumptions, but I will just find another church to attend who has a pastor with empathy. I am thankful for the people who were very supportive of me, God bless your beautiful souls.
