✝️🎄✝️🌟🎶💒🙏🌸🎁✝️⛪️🎄✝️ This church holds deep personal significance as it was where my late mother, grandmother, and I all worshipped, and where I received my baptism. Their sister church, Trinity Baptist Temple in Canton, shares the same spirit. Dana, a truly gifted teacher and master of ceremonies, carries forward a long legacy of spiritual guidance, spanning multiple generations. I fondly remember his father, and though I lament certain doctrinal aspects, especially the "seed faith" teachings that burdened my grandmother, the influence of this family’s faith remains undeniable. 🕊️ While my experience with Dana's family has been mostly positive, my own faith journey took a sharp turn due to an experience with his firstborn during childhood. Though forgiven, the remark "God loves me more than you" still lingers. It was a harsh lesson in how children can be unkind, but I recognize that growth follows. The worship here is truly magnificent. The gifted voices in the congregation elevate every service, and the spirit often moves the service to extend well beyond expected times—something I’ve always appreciated, even if others in my family did not! 🎶🙌 Though they bill themselves as non-denominational, their leanings towards Pentecostal and Baptist traditions are evident, with practices like speaking in tongues, gifts of the spirit, and laying of hands. The teachings around these practices may not be for everyone but are an integral part of their worship. ✝️🔥 Unfortunately, there was a painful incident involving my late mother that left her feeling deeply wounded and unable to return to any place of worship. This experience left an indelible mark on her, and I’ll never forget her words: "The Bible teaches me to fellowship with like-minded individuals. A den of faith healers and charlatans is no place for someone of my intelligence and devotion." 💔 Lastly, while the church provides a rich spiritual experience, I find their subtle push of conservative political ideology troubling. It’s unfortunate that their teachings sometimes veer into political endorsement, which many, including myself, find inappropriate for a place of worship. 🗳️❌ Despite the difficulties, many treasured memories and lessons learned here remain with me. The good, the bad, and the challenging all weave together as part of the divine design of our Almighty God. ✝️💫 🌸🎁✝️🎄💒🙏🎶🌟🎄✝️🎁🌸 We have been a member of Cathedral of Life for many years because we feel and know that the Holy Spirit is in this church. Trinity Gospel Temple of Canton Ohio is combined with this church also. Love these people in this church! You are welcome to attend! This is truly home for me. I have taken time and checked out a couple of other churches to only realize that Cathedral of Life is a life changing church. Cathedral has helped me mature in ways that no other church in my life has done. Bishop Herschel Gammill had a vision of what God was going to do through Cathedral of Life and I've been blessed over the years to watch the vision grow and grow. Thank God for his son, Dr Dana Gammill who has taken Herschel's torch and is carrying it forward into the future. This church is filled with loving people who are committed, born again, and spirit filled people who love with the love of God. Please come a visit us at our church. You will never be the same again. God Bless Cathedral of Life, Pastor Dana and the awesome church staff. I truly know where my spiritual home is. Cathedral Of Life has meant so much to me ever since I was a small boy in the 80's. Pastor Dana saw how backwards and shy I was, and put me on his knee and told me he loved me and cared about me, and helped me to feel accepted and to fit in with the other kids. That little act of kindness he showed me meant the world to me, and I highly Recommend him and his ministry & family, the Gammills are great people. Cathedral of Life is a church where you will receive total ministry for the entire family. The music is incredible and the preaching is anointed. You will learn and grow under Pastor Dana's teaching. It is a place where all are loved and accepted.
