Six months ago I searched churches in Google and the Gathering really stuck out to me. Best google search I ever made! My first visit I was so shocked to find a church so awesome in my backyard. The gathering is so welcoming when you walk in and it’s easy to walk straight to the worship center where you will experience great corporate worship and a gospel packed message that’s delivered in such a clear way. I have been every Sunday since that first visit and still experience the same great experience. Plus I continue to discover more and more about this church that makes it a great place for the community being a church that preaches Gods Word and lives it out! Went here with my three year for the Dayton Fall Festival.. Directions took me right to they building fine and we had a wonderful time together. Very wonderful staff ❤️ Great teaching, awesome people, many opportunities to get connected. My teenage daughter and son are asking to go to church just to hear Pastor David preach (if we have a busy weekend, they do not mind to wake up earlier to go to 9:30 service). My whole family loves this church! Wonderful church! The senior pastor Dave Rudd delivers an absolutely fantastic message each and every week. I leave each sermon more enthused about the my relationship with God, then when I came. Steve Nuzzo is the connections pastor, and also does a fantastic job! He had put together a team that always makes new visitors feel so comfortable, and his videos (top 3) are hilarious. The Worship team does a very good job each week with the music. I've been at this church now for 20+ years, and I would never consider going anywhere else! You only have to come one time, and you'll want to stay for a lifetime! I started attending the Gathering with my wife Susan about 4 years ago. From the very first visit we felt welcomed. We were invited by very close friends of ours Steve and Bari Stasko. We came back because we liked the music and especially the messages from Pastor David. He has a way of incorporating his own family experiences to make messages from the Bible become clearer and easier to understand. My wife passed away and went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2020. David came to our house and prayed with Susan just a few weeks earlier. The Gathering truly has compassionate people as there were 500 people who attended a huge tent Memorial service 1 week later. I would like to invite whoever is reading this to attend either the 9:30AM or the 11:00AM service on any Sunday. It will be a decision which could change your present circumstances.
