Love this church and the people here! They have welcomed me with open arms. Pastor Joe is so kind. I feel a part of this community and am so happy I found this church! They baptized my son back in February and now we are working on putting together a room for nursing mothers. They are very inclusive and welcoming! Cityview church (formerly known as Central City) is the most loving welcoming no behind the scenes BS(never thought I’d use that phrase while reviewing a church). I love that Cityview and Joe not only talk the talk but they back it up with actual action. They do everything they can for their congregation and have truly given me hope in organized religion where past traumas with churches have pushed me away. They are welcoming of ALL walks of life. I’m trans and I do not feel like I am treated any differently than anyone else. I sincerely can’t put words into how amazing this church community is and its mission. Cityview is one of the best church communities I have ever been a part of. They get how to do real! They get how to do broken! They get that we are imperfect people who want to love Jesus and love others well and they have wonderful, relatable sermons that speak to that. They are LGBTQ+ friendly and open to those who have been hurt by religious communities. They give a damn and put their money into action. Give us a try and come visit sometime! It is the perfect community for anyone just beginning to explore the Christian faith or searching for a solid church home. The pastors, Joe and Allyssa, have a huge heart for people who have left christian community because of hurt or doubt. They are seeking to boldly love and engage with the people of Columbus, and I am so excited to be a part of it. I am so thankful for Central City Church! The people are wonderful, the message is always relevant and Bible based, the coffee is great, and they have childcare during the service. During a tough time in our life, our church has been there for support, and we couldn't ask for anything better.
