This has been a very welcoming church me and my family since moving to the Dayton area. Sound biblical teaching, deep one another relationships, honest and loving conversations aimed to support and help each other grow closer to God, and they love to celebrate one another and have fun together, too! My kids love the children's classes and have built great friendships in the church. This is a very diverse group of people with the common goal to love the Lord our God with all our heart and love our neighbors as ourselves. I love being part of Miami Valley Church! It’s such a welcoming community where people of all ages and backgrounds truly come together. Even though we’re a smaller church, that’s part of what makes it so special—people genuinely know and care about each other. One of the highlights every year is Ohio Valley Camp for rising 3rd–7th graders. The kids especially look forward to the legendary shaving cream fight—it’s such a fun tradition and creates amazing memories! What I appreciate most is the focus on authentic discipleship and growing in faith together. They offer great Bible study series whether you’re brand new to the Bible or have been studying it for years. It’s truly a place where anyone can come, ask questions, build friendships, and grow spiritually. If you’re looking for a diverse, welcoming church community in the Miami Valley, this is a wonderful place to connect. I have personally been part of this amazing church ministry group since 1991, it is like family, born and raised in Dayton, Oh. I am so grateful to have a local church family (who like any family is not perfect but committed) committed to not just know the bible/scriptures but live them out to the best of our ability, each of us loving God, loving and valuing others, to be seen and heard, the way God does, with biblical teachings, personal individualized bible studies, and fun times helping each other grow individually as well as communally, despite differences of background, season of life or race, we are multicultural and multigenerational group of real people, we all have a story. So if you are looking for something different, sometimes change and different can be scary but if this is what you’ve been searching for look no further, take the first step and come and see for yourself! We can’t wait to meet you! The fellowship is awesome, this is a church family that loves. Lessons are great and the relationships are wonderful. The heart of Jesus is here... I have a daughter that goes to Cedarville University and she has made this her home church. We attend church when we visit her and they are such a kind, hospitable and loving group. The teaching is biblical and the leaders Bryan and Lauren are wonderful. I’m grateful for my brothers and sisters in the Miami Valley church of Christ!
