What visitors say
This church has a clear open and loving view of scripture which calls them to love neighbor and work for justice in the world. They have the best messaging on their signs and inside that continues through their members and pastor. Pastor Adam connects the heart and intellect through liturgy and sermons. I'm really grateful to know his as a colleague and know that St. Johns regularly partners eccumenically with other downtown churches. If you're searching for somewhere you'll be welcomed and celebrated for your diverse identity, this is a great place. Plus the tradition of the space is endearing. Speaking as a general universalist, it's rare to see a Christian Church this open to sharing their facilities with pagan and less echumenically traditional faiths in an attempt to become a 3rd space. Bravo, Pastor Wirrig. Truly bearing good fruit. This is a great church in Dayton Ohio. The pastoral team is great, they are always trying to be a force for good in the community. The couple of events I've been to, the congratulation has been very friendly. If you're in the area and looking for somewhere to go, stop by and give them a try. I have found St. John’s to be a church which takes Jesus’ calling seriously and soberly, while also being a fun and welcoming place. Their senior pastor displays a great depth of knowledge and a caring heart. Reverend Adam has made a difference in my life. I believe in him and his mission. I'm proud to call him a friend, This church is lead by a true spirit that changes lives...and the building is beautiful! Thank you Adam for being there for all of us.
