What visitors say
We visited today and had a great experience! The worship team did a great job. The stage was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The songs were well chosen and tied in with the message about Hope. People were friendly to us. It was a great message about Hope from the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth. Kids church was available. I recommend if you are looking for a nondenominational Christian Church! Grew up at this church when I was younger and would visit periodically over the years. Discover is very biblical and not flashy like a lot of the trendy churches in Columbus. Very authentic. The church motto is love God, love people, make disciples I absolutely LOVE Discover Christian Church. I have been consistently attending this church for the last couple years. Everyone is so welcoming and you truly feel like you matter and aren't just a number. This could easily happen since there a so many people who attend. They are so involved in the community and are so willing to help anyone in need. The pastoral staff is wonderful and every time any of them speak on Sunday, you will hear a great message. I also LOVE the worship music that the worship team sings. You will hear a great mix of the current worship songs and still hear the traditional hymns. If you have kids you will love the children's programs. The teaching staff is amazing!! This church lives and breathes it's mission statement. I would highly recommend it to anyone. My time with Discover has been great so far. I really feel the spirituality associated with the Lord since I've been going here. I've even started praying a lot & learning as much as I can too. Its been a while since I've been at church but ever since I started going to this one. I've been getting really into it. At Discover you'll learn much & be a part of a great community in the process as well. I’m so blessed to call Discover my home! They have an amazing community, with ample opportunities to get to know people and also serve. Pastor Steve is incredibly welcoming and has a relatable preaching style.
