Was a relatively new attendee and one of the pastors took me out to dinner thinking it was just to get to know me. Over the course of the meal the pastor and his wife gave this pre-packaged message about me needing to be saved right now. I was pressured to pray this scripted prayer so I could leave that dinner knowing I would go to heaven. Little did they know, I have been a Christian my entire life, and have been saved since I was a teenager. This entire effort felt like staged evangelism where the church was more interested in adding to their “number of people saved this year” total. I fear this church is motivated by attendance counts and Sunday morning entertainment productions rather than sharing the gospel. Impassioned minister. Relatable staff and friendly people. I have attended here several times and everytime I am warmly welcomed. Guide Church is a great place to go to hear the truth of God's Word in practical ways. The people there are real - they don't pretend to have it all together and it's refreshing! I don't feel like I have to be "good enough" to come and I can be myself. There are so many opportunities the church provides to help me grow in my spiritual journey throughout the week. The children's program teaching the kids in ways that they can understand and apply to their lives. It doesn't matter if you've never been to church before, or if you grew up in church, Guide Church is a wonderful place to go to learn more about how to live for God in a practical way. I encourage you to come on a Sunday to see for yourself! I love this church so much. I started going November of 2022 right before the move to the new location. The people you meet are all genuinely interested in accepting you to the church, making you feel welcome, and to become closer with God. I love the aspect of note taking and learning that Ben incorporates into each service. GKidz is wonderful for when you have a little one but want to pay attention in the service. It’s a wonderful place to be and grow your relationship with God. I found this church to be very good for both the young and old, singles and families. After attending for a few Sundays it was apparent that this church teaches God's word and encourages the members to grow in their spiritual faith through small groups, serving, and fellowship. The children seemed to have a great time in the kids area with the curriculum and the leaders. If you are looking for your first church or for a new church, you owe it to yourself to stop in to one of the two services, and you can make it your forever church.
