What visitors say

Enjoyed the message and worship songs very much. First time visiting and the parishioners at the welcome center were very friendly and helpful. The only thing different for me was the pastor was not physically at the service at this location. He gave the message from another location and it was up on screens to watch. My mother-in-law was visiting and wanted to go to church on Mother’s Day, so we decided to check out Crossroads Mason. I was somewhat apprehensive - not much of a church guy because of the way I was raised - but I WILL definitely be back. It’s refreshing to receive truth and to find Christians unafraid to stand up for the true teachings of Jesus. I want to believe that real Christians practice love, peace and community, not war, scapegoating and greed. I have felt very disenchanted with this church after going here for about 6 months now. I would love to hear the actual pastor speak and not watch a Ted Talk through a video screen. I would also love to get involved with a small group but I’m not a mom, and I’m in my 30s, so it doesn’t quite feel like I’m welcome here. I might as well watch a different, much better church service from home at this point with the lack of community and lack of an actual live sermon. I have attended for 6 months, and am now looking to move churches because I feel like I can’t be an “all in” Christian attending this place. I was ON FIRE for the Lord before switching to Crossroads, but ever since moving here, I’ve felt very lukewarm and like my relationship with the Lord isn’t where it once was and I do think that has to do with the lack of community and lack of opportunity to get involved and the fact I don’t get anything out of the sermons. It’s too dark in there to even be able to note-take to stay engaged. The positive thing I will say about this church, the music is good because I do like some loud worship, and they are an open minded church. You can show up in jeans, tattoos, crazy color hair, etc and they will still welcome you with a smile and open arms. I love Crossroad Mason. My family and I moved to the area from Memphis and we searched for a church that’s outside of traditional church and we found Crossroads. My family’s perspective is to practice for Heaven so a church with diversity was a must. Not just a minority here and there, I get to worship with Asians, Indians, Blacks, Whites, Latinos, and they even have inclusion for handicap people and deaf people. Real people that love and serve a real God. I love the Mason Church Leaders, from the campus pastor to the worship leaders, from the security team to the parking leaders and kids club. I know I have a church with people that will pray with me and for me and be there if I have a need. A real big church to service a big community. Someone once told me, Sunday is the most segregated day of the week. People only want to worship with people that fit in “Their” comfort box. Whelp! Lol not here. White people singing gospel music! Black people singing country Christian music…… And they have a CHOIR?!?! I love this church. My husband daughter and I started going here because it wasn’t far from us. Been going for a couple years and when my kid turned an age older they moved her class without consulting us. She cried and hated it so bad. She didn’t want anything to do with that. Then we found out about the kicking the Bible Stunt on Super Bowl Sunday and I told my husband that’s it. That’s my last straw. I will Not sit in a “church” that disrespects the Lord in order to appear “cool” to the modern world. The female pastor is disrespectful to the Word. I’m not coming back to this rock concert. If I wanna hear a sermon by the pastor (who only preaches in Oakley) i can flip on the tv from my living room.
