Church of the Resurrection is truly on fire right now! We have been blessed with incredible priests over the years, and our newest additions, Father PC and Father Dave, are amazing. They are both excellent homilists and bring fresh energy and openness to trying new things and I’m excited to see what this new chapter brings. The parish is alive with vibrant ministries. The high school ministry is strong and welcoming, while adult faith formation offers multiple bible studies each year. The women’s bible study, Walking with Purpose, has been a powerful source of connection and community. I’ve been a member for over 30 years, and I don’t know why it took me 30 years to finally write a review. In that time, I’ve grown in faith while watching the church grow right alongside me. It truly feels like home. Attempted to go to the Holly days craft show and was literally turned away because strollers are not allowed. There was an old lady that refused my entrance as I have a child in a stroller. Leave it to the church to somehow exclude everyone. I grew up in the Catholic Church and have continued to have nothing but negative experiences every time I set foot near a church. I immediately left and went to spend my money at target. I hope someone reads this review and understands how unwelcoming you are and how your rules exclude families and young people from events. Do you also not allow wheelchairs in your establishment? I would recommend avoiding this church all together. Nice people there. I was there for the farmers market. However, considering it was located in New Albany, no one was snooty or stuck up. A very friendly experience indeed. A beautiful Catholic Church community. The church itself is beautiful and creates a very special environment for worship. The clergy and staff are also wonderful and kind. They are very accessible for any needs or questions you may have. Mass offers great hymn's and homilies. There are tons of ways to get involved in the church. Adoration is offered with accessible times. Also, the Church of The Resurrection integrates technology in a very effective way through an online website and streaming Sunday mass in case you are out of town. This Church has it all. If you are looking for a parish, I would start here. Went for a wedding. Priests didn't speak up enough. Had hearing aides in and only 4th row back but couldn't hear what was being said for the most part.
