My son was married here in March 2017. Beautiful bride, happy groom and a gorgeous church. I know Dan from outside of the church, and he is the greatest guy- very humble, incredibly nice, understanding and caring. He made my day today - just by being so kind and humble and thankful. I look forward to seeing him again and hearing about his journeys and his words of wisdom and encouragement. I can only imagine that he’s a great pastor; based on the 5 minutes I see him every once in a while We thank you so much santa mike it was a hidden blessing we came to you today. We really appreciated what you had to offer and share with us! Thank you again! Much love from Annabella and Cory amen. I cannot say enough good things about this church. I had my wedding a few weeks ago, our original church canceled on us 2 weeks before and we were told to check here. Sheri was amazing to work with and everything was amazing! I am a 77 year old man caring for my wife at our home. She suffers from a long term illness. When the Back Yard Missions Team of Rocky River United Methodist Church contacted me to offer performing a Home Improvement project at our Lakewood OH home that would benefit my wife and me, I asked “Could you install a new sink in our upstairs bathroom?” They answered that they would be glad to. Next, a representative came and accompanied my wife’s daughter to a Home Improvement store to ensure the needed connection supplies were part of her purchase.. A day later, two team members came and indeed installed the sink. They did a wonderful job! Looks so good! The Missions Team has taken the meaning of the term ‘Back Yard’ to a whole new level. We are both astounded at this generous gift of time and labor.
