I like that this is a traditional church building with pews and beautiful stained glass windows. I was welcomed immediately by others in the congregation. They were all very friendly and inviting. I listened to the father preach and he put on a nice sermon and is funny too. There were a couple of hymns sung from the actual hymnals (so great to still see them in a church). Then there were a couple of contemporary songs sung off the projector screen while the head pastor played a guitar behind the podium. They sung the chorus/bridge over and over and over again. I don't care for this type of contemporary music. Sadly there were only maybe 25 people tops in attendance (counting the pastor and the band), although the age group was spread out. One thing I don't get is the head pastor wearing jeans and a henly T shirt. I was raised that you respect the Lord and dress appropriately in His house. I understand parishioners that maybe don't have dress clothes, but to stand on stage as the pastor, is flabbergasting to me. Its not just here though. More and more churches are becoming too modern and casual. I might go back here from time to time, but it isn't what I'm looking for in a new permanent church home. Great Church Pastor Doug Meacham Come and Join us Great little car show. Good people. My church family. If you don't have a church home I invite you to join us. Spirit filled. Awesome Service.
