Horrible experience there for me and several friends. If you serve there, no one speaks to you. (2 volunteers I know personally) I made the worship team and then when my husband decided to abandon the marriage, I was told I would not be on the worship team anymore. I called the “care line” mistakenly thinking I would receive some “care”. But the pastor’s dad answered and said in a rude tone “what are you hoping to get out of this?” He was acting like I was calling asking for money. I said, shocked “I don’t know,,maybe some prayer? Some caring support?” He put his wife on the line. She told me to pray for my husband in tongues. That’s the “care” I received. I’ve waited 4 years to post this until my daughter was safely out of their bad influence. She figured it out on her own. It’s a great church if you are a young couple with kids. But heaven forbid you are divorcing an abusive man. (Covert and he most likely said whatever lies he wanted to say to our homegroup people) You promptly get kicked off worship team and accused of trying to get something out of a useless care line. I told the pastor and his wife and his response was to ignore me and put his face in his hands. Wife was trying to be understanding. Beware. Only their type of people allowed. I have a similar concern to being distracted during the service. Where some ladies were cackling and laughing during every comment the Pastor said along with amen and Aha and yeah, I wish they would understand I need to concentrate what's being said. And if they're doing it to encourage the pastor well sit in the front row and smile, and do all your amens up there. But when you're in the sermon, you are really distracting, the rest of us. I honestly never do this, but I really hope that the staff read this and understand that what happened to us here was not appropriate and we will not be coming back because of it. We brought our baby with us into the sanctuary during the afternoon service. We sat toward the back and close to the exit. A staff member came and talked to us TWICE about our baby being a distraction. The second time she was just gooing kind of loud and she had dropped my wife’s phone on the floor. I noticed a staff member came and kneeled next to my wife. My wife looked at me and told me she was taking the baby out. I honestly was in shock because our baby was just sitting there quietly in my wife’s arms. When my wife got to the lobby she text me and told me that the staff member had asked her to take our baby out. I was completely shocked by this. Up until that point we had been enjoying the service. Good non domination Christians. Worship is amazing but the word is pretty good too. So try it I went once with a date... Sadly catfished but I was fully there for the msg. And yeah. Officer is placed and lots of people to meet there. This church has everything we have ever wanted. Powerful worship, biblically sound preaching, and a community of authentic followers chasing The Lord with all their hearts! So encouraged to attend each week and beyond blessed to call it our “home”!
