Attending church service at Redemption Church at Nigh Centre in Edmond, Oklahoma. Its really different experience attending worship service in the US as most of their song of praise are very Americanised which you hardly heard of them in churches in Asia or Oceania where Hillsong dominates. Met a long of Christian brothers and sisters amd had a wonderful time of worship with my daughter here. As an Acts 29 church, I knew that Redemption would be theologically sound and biblically astute, but what sets Redemption apart is the authenticity of its pastors, staff, and congregants. If you are new, you WILL be greeted at the door and welcomed with a warm and genuine smile... probably several. You will experience a heart-felt musical worship service and a Bible-based sermon. If you are seeking good Bible teaching and authentic Christ-centered relationships, look no further. Since first attending Redemption over a year ago, my wife and I have joined a small group and serve regularly in the children’s ministry. We haven’t looked back. Our small group is amazing, and we simply love our church. The preaching is Gospel with no smoke and mirrors. Children hear The word and The Lord's Supper is celebrated every week. The members walk with each other through good and tough life events and all are cared for. Gospel centered church that beautifully communicates God's love, grace and character. The worship is fantastic, sincere, and does a great job of creating a tone and environment for preparing your hearts to receive the word of God. The people who attend, as well as the staff, are all warm and welcoming and very accessible. Highly recommend. I originally came here because I needed some hours for community service. No where else was offering it, but here at Redemption, they went out of their way to make it wiork. Where I have always been close with God but had not been to church in a while. That first Sunday I went and I just loved their service it was like none I had experienced before. No matter your background, everyone makes you feel so very welcome and no pressure with the best uplifting music during service.
