This is a wonderful church, full of people who love Jesus and desire to spread the gospel. Pastors Ben and Matt are true servants of the Lord and I am so grateful for their teaching and leadership. This church has been my husbands and my family through some very hard times in our lives, and I praise God for their faithfulness! Besides solid teaching, the people are some of the friendliest in OK! If you want a solid expositional preaching, discipleship based church where Christ is exalted and the pastors really care for your soul, this is the place! I've known Pastor Ben for almost two decades and had the privilege of serving with Matt when he was in seminary. They are passionate about the transformative power of God's Word. If I was to encourage anyone in the Tulsa area, it would be to come and give your life to the work going on here. Don't be a spectator. Come and grow, serve and replicate yourself. There is no better way to spend the life God has given you! My wife and I moved from Tulsa in the beginning of 2017, but we continue to maintain our relationships with lead pastor Ben, associate pastor Matt and the rest of the congregation. This last weekend (Oct. 7, 2018) was the first service for Jenks Bible Church in their new facility. My wife and I love this church and the people within it so much that we made it a priority to fly to Oklahoma for the weekend and support them in this new and exciting transition! This church has been and continues to be a blessing to us, demonstrating well how a true community of believers should live and act in accordance with God’s word. If you attend a Sunday here, you won’t miss experiencing that. Everyone demonstrated so much love and genuine interest our first few visits, it touched our hearts and made my wife and me WANT to be a part of this community of believers. And it wasn’t just the first few visits, it was and is continually that way with this church family. No matter how I try and articulate this, there is no way to explain it. The love and fellowship is something you must experience yourself, which makes it evident the work the Lord is doing in this church. This church has a large impact on its members and community. For my wife and me personally this church came along side us when we needed them the most. We were struggling in our marriage and personal walks with the Lord. The Lord used this church body to minister to us, which brought growth in our personal relationships with the Lord and as a result restoration to our marriage. The Lord uses Ben to clearly articulate the Word of God, balancing the true depth of the Scriptures while giving life application to the message. Something I find few do exceptionally well, but I dare to say Ben is one of those few. Through Ben’s preaching and my weekly meetings with Matt, this church provided my soul the encouragement it needed. Ben’s preaching style is expositional, taking the congregation verse by verse through books of the bible. Ben and Matt are two of the most genuine, sincere men of God I have ever met in my life and each is committed to their role of shepherding members and looking out for their personal growth in their relationships with the Lord. So…if you are looking for a church that will love you well and you will love, look no further than here. Teaching Biblical truth, rooted in strong Biblical values living the light of Christ, the essence of life! For the past five years prior to this new work of the Lord in Jenks I’ve had the privilege of serving alongside the lead pastor Ben Averitt. He is a man of integrity who has a deep love for his family and a steady commitment to the Lord’s church. What I love most about this church though is that it’s not about one man. It’s all about Jesus Christ! I highly recommend this church for you and your family, a place where the gospel is proclaimed and lived to the glory of God and for the good of his people. This is a church that teaches Biblically sound doctrine. I am a member and have been blessed to be under the leadership. Being a part of this church family has been a source of great encouragement and spiritual growth in my life.
