I had a very disappointing experience dealing with a couch listing connected to Life Church in Moore, Oklahoma on Facebook Marketplace. The communication felt extremely confusing and unorganized from the beginning. It constantly seemed like nobody knew what was going on, and I kept getting mixed signals about whether someone was actually available or not. I tried to be respectful and patient, but the entire situation felt unnecessarily secretive and frustrating. Instead of clear answers, I was left feeling ignored and treated like I didn’t know what I was talking about. A simple free couch pickup should not turn into this much confusion and poor communication. Very disappointed with how this was handled overall. I recently started exploring Life Church after moving on from a Catholic background, and I initially appreciated the warm welcome from Joey. It felt genuine, and I truly believed he cared about me and my family. However, my experience took a turn when I noticed some troubling behaviors. I was disappointed when Joey did not show up for a longtime member undergoing serious surgery—someone who has contributed significantly to the church community. It made me question his commitment to those who need support during tough times. I tried to switch things up by attending a sermon from the new youth pastor, only to discover that it was completely scripted. It felt like every pastor was just reiterating the same donation pitch without any personal touch. I expected more authenticity from my church experience. What struck me the most was overhearing derogatory comments made by the church leader's son, who expressed disdain for the church's older members, implying he didn’t want his father’s church to look like that. He even made derogatory remarks toward my mother-in-law, who has dedicated her life to serving at Life Church and attends multiple services in her free time. It’s disheartening to see a church community fail to respect its dedicated members, especially those who have faithfully donated and contributed over the years. Overall, I feel that Life Church has a long way to go in terms of honoring its elders and creating an environment where everyone feels valued. I hope they can reflect on these issues and strive for a more inclusive and compassionate community. Very friendly, relaxing atmosphere awesome classes for the age of the child!! And you can sing as loud as you want! And Craig is great to everyone is very helpful. This church had helped me grow so much! Oh life groups for adults. Switch for teens awesome as well. Went with 4 generation from my family. Great volunteers that make you feel so welcome and great sermons. Kids love the childcare area. It's a great family church and everybody is so nice! It's clean too! Great restrooms! I'm from out of town / country. I went here on Easter Sunday. First time coming to this church, and last. I was disappointed with the worship service. The worship team had a lady wear black yoga pants with white boots and a hat. Is she trying to get people to pay attention to her or bring people to God through Lust. I'm confused. I believe a worship team should bring people to God through their worship, not themselves. Have the worship team down dress and not be provocative. We all are sinners and fallen short of the glory of God. Some people have problems with Lust and don't need to be at church. Bring people to God not to yourselves. The preaching was good on the other hand. God bless you. I hope your worship team correct themselves.
