We visited Christ Church on Harvard about a week before Christmas and had a wonderful experience. They presented a Christmas play about Mary and Joseph that was very family-oriented and engaging for all ages. From the moment we arrived, everyone was kind and welcoming. The congregation was friendly, and the pastor took time to introduce himself and ask if I had been there before since I wasn’t a familiar face. That meant a lot and really stood out. Christ Church on Harvard feels like a place where people are noticed and welcomed. We left feeling encouraged and grateful for the warmth we experienced. Christ Church caring and putting up with me going through a lot thank pastor Aaron not giving up on me A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere with great praise music that is creative and inspiring. I am always really blessed by Pastor Bob's and Pastor Aaron's engaging and bible based sermons. Never feel like a stranger. Great place to be on a Sunday morning. Instant reaction: wow they're excited I'm here and want me to feel welcomed and loved! A place where you'll never feel judged, only love and care. Early service is for the old school soul, who appreciates the traditions from their parents and grandparents, and second service is for those who enjoy a great band on stage and wearing what's comfy. They are very different but equally great. I've had so many bad church experiences that getting up to go to a new church, where my feelings could get hurt because my clothes weren't right or became I didn't know something, while overal feeling like standing out like a sore thumb, made me want to give up on church. Then I was invited to Christ Church. It's truly special. A pastor even visited me in the hospital without my request. If you're not a "church person," try their community events. They're fun & have no strings or pressure attached. It's months away, but I love their trunk or treat! Been a member at this precious church since about 1984. Can't begin to tell all the benefits I have experienced through the years. Loved Dr. Pierson and love Pastor Bob Feist. Currently in a fabulous Sunday School class. Hope you will come join us soon!
