Good AA meeting here, most days at noon and other times, check your Meeting Guide app for details. All are welcome. A progressive church with many outreach programs and a very friendly congregation. It takes the phrase "open and affirming" as a way to live out their mission. All are truly welcome and not required to change to fit a set of rules. Refreshing. An 'open and affirming' congregation of the United Church of Christ. Congregation and its leaders are strong proponents of full inclusion for LGBTQ persons. Progressive message from clergy, taking the Bible seriously, but not literally. "No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you're welcome here." Disclaimer - I am an authorized minister in the same denomination, although I do not serve this congregation. I I am a member of the church. This is the best church I’ve ever attended. There is no condemnation, no judgment, and no one isn’t welcome. They have an emphasis on social justice and you do what you can when you can. The Church is so welcoming and the people are so kind. I don't attend but I do pass by twice a week and I just wanted to commend whoever is making the marquee messages.
