What visitors say

All I can say about this church is that I appreciate that they allow us that are in Narcotics Anonymous to have our events there like we just had the Monster Mash. We have our New Year's Eve parties there and you know I would say come check us out guys come check out the church Family oriented Christian Church with a strong youth program. Services are held in a beautiful open chapel with heart felt worship music and challenging teaching from a humorous pastor. What’s not to like. They feed the homeless downtown, build houses in Mexico, regular community outreach and lots of great food eaten after service. The youth program is very active and gets into real issues kids are facing. Definitely recommend to try it out. This is the first time my son gets to go camping he is so excited to have fun I went there Sunday to go to the food pantry got hit by a car on my way there on my bicycle I arrived there at the board supposed to be closed cuz your website says 2:00 however one party too and it out the doors are locked I go into your your church area where there are people because there was a guy trying stuff on the trailer had some pizza with the food bank he said no I went down to the church area there were people in there and but they were you know they were going to show me where the food bank was I told them I already checked the doors they were already locked in the website until 2:00 but all those stores were locked and I have to think it help me they said they could help you find me open door however they just went outside I told me not to go back in there and then ran around the building disappeared I went to the side the building I wear a lady came out and you know I asked her if you could help me with food pantries explain the situation and she said she would go in and make a phone call she never came back out you know so you know she said she could see what she would do give her just a minute but she never came back out. And I said I was hit by a car I just block away on my way there and I was on a bicycle you know I couldn't get assistance from anyone there for anything after the food bank not for being hit by the car in fact I had a gentleman there that bowed up on me and came at me and I asked if he was really going to come at me like that? and he came at me faster n further up on me bulking out his shoulders, telling me to get off the property! I have NEVER in my life been treated as poorly as I was treated at ur church this Sunday. My grandfather has a doctrine in history and biblical studies, and my uncle was the minister who started and built holiday island community church, I am utterly astounded at the way I was treated when coming to your church asking for assistance, especially considering I had just been hit by a car a block away, while riding me bike to get to your food pantry, that according to your website should have been open, but was not. But even more upsetting than not being able to get food, cuz you did not stick to the hours that you advertise on your own website, was the poor way I was treated, from the moment I arrived at your church. This is the way, you 'help' your neighbor, this is the way you serve god? By treating a woman who had just been hit by a car a block away on her way to ur food pantry? You should ALL be ashamed and embarrassed by your behavior! Down to earth, and inclusive to all. I helped work the food pantry with my sister (I was her guest) today, and you can tell the congregation truly cares. I am a "show me, don't tell me" kind of woman, and l appreciate what I see in the people that attend. Also... when you find a church with a sense of humor, give them a try.
