What visitors say

An open and affirming congregation dedicated to love, faith, scripture, service and social justice. Community outreach is prioritized and longstanding. Organizations and groups other than the church congregation utilize the property. Neighbors are welcome at FCC PDX. Critics are welcome at FCC PDX. All people are welcome at the Disciples of Christ (Christian Church) congregations I’ve known. Ever heard of ‘not judging a book by its cover?’ Perhaps allow a church to at least introduce itself to you before a hasty judgement. A wonderful Christian community where everyone is welcome regardless of wealth, gender, sexuality, presentation, or flaws. This church also does a lot of work feeding and caring for houseless people in the Park Blocks. The church members tie up a dog to their fence multiple times a week early in the morning and let it bark for hours. It's both cruel to the animal and inconsiderate to their residential neighbors who are trying to sleep. Beautiful staff and everyone there!! I’m very grateful to your help and support. Thank you too for the lunch bag today I needed that. God bless you and again thank you for everything you do!! They tied up a dog to their fence in the morning and let it scream barks for hours. What would Jesus do? Probably not contribute to animal abuse.
