Welcoming community that knows how to minister to those whose lives are in transition. This fellowship meets in a 150 year old castle like church with contemporary worship and erudite pastor who is keyed to the challenges faced by current day influences. Meets at 10:30 am Sunday and offers SHARE a ministry to those who have experienced spiritual abuse. Went last Sunday for the first time! Very enjoyable & friendly people! Hope to go back when I’m in town, from Olympia. Moved here in late Jan., 2017 and searched for a Christ centered, bible teaching Church. Attended and felt welcomed and people were not pushy, which was appreciated. Pastor Ken is an excellent teacher with a big heart for the people he is sheparding, and for Portland. Greatly appreciate the Praise music which is a nice mix of well known hymns and newer Christian songs. Very thankful to have been led to Grace Bible Church for the fellowship and friendships made with fellow believers in our Lord Jesus. I have been a part of this church off and on since 2005, and Pastor Ken Delivers the Lord's message right from the heart. I feel like I learn something about the Bible and Jesus Christ when I leave there, and can apply it to my daily life. Praise God!!! Feels like home. Not like, "This feels like back home." But rather, "This feels like a place to establish AS home."
