What visitors say
Far, far too many wonderful things about this church family to write up in a review, but suffice it to say, there is solid community available here! People of all ages gather for energy-filled teaching which is always centered on the Bible, prayer is valued, music is worshipful and encouraging, and the staff is loving and supportive. Folks from all over the suburban area have made this their church home, many for decades, and connections are not only wide, but also deep. Our family truly loves our church home at Christ Church, where we’ve been members for many years. Our family has grown and been deeply supported through Life Group, Christ Kids, VBS, special events, and youth group. The Bible-centered preaching, teaching, worship, and leadership are both authentic and strong, all within a close-knit community that genuinely cares for and supports one another. A church the really preaches from the Word. This has been a wonderful place for our family to “plant our flag”. Shortly after we became members, our newborn was in the hospital. Pastor Matt and Pastor Jake showed up at the hospital with words to pray, when we felt like we didn’t have much left to say. Praise the Lord for the work He is doing through His Church. We visited CC KOP recently and greatly appreciated the time of worship and the chance to meet the pastor. Pastor Matt and the folks at Christ Church are extremely welcoming and desire to see people grow in their faith in Christ. Highly recommend! I've loved getting to know the great people at this church. Pastor Matt brings it every week!
