An amazing church that I was able to sit under and learn from. Pastor Daren and Pastor Tasha Miller poured into me and taught me what has helped to become the man of God I am today. This church is amazing and has amazing leaders and members. The Gathering Place is also loving welcoming peaceful spirit lead and filled and also teachable. Im so honored to have learned and grasp from pastor lady miller and miller family sister thomas elder thomas mother ruise evangelist miller deacon kenny miller deacon harold and mother miller. Evan malone. Thank you all Love the pantry of this place they have so much food to give to the people. All u need is ur Id and I think Social security card. Can’t remember. But wow the food u get to choose from is phenomenal things can get food from Whole Foods Wegmans giant all kinds of places the only issue I have is they take forever to get the people to come in they have a buzzer that you gotta get when you first arrive, but they are slow in calling people to come in that’s the only thing that I have an issue with other than that you get pre-cooked meals, frozen meat, a vegetable and fruit box bread a ton of dessert, canned goods and to tell you the truth half of this stuff is not expired. It’s fresh. I’ve never had a problem with that. They’re only open on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10 to 4. I would suggest coming Thursday or Friday so it’s not so packed but you really do get great food here. Try it one time and see how you like it. The people here are also quite nice and you don’t have to go to church to receive pantry items. As much as I'd like to give this food pantry a good review, I can't. I went there today, got here a few minutes after 1pm, and I'm leaving empty-handed at 230pm. I'm sure it's a good pantry if you finally get served. It was not busy at all, either. There were a total of 8 vehicles in the parking lot and 1 person waiting outside. I've been to several pantries, and this one is by far the slowest moving. I'm sure the church is OK with moving super slow because they're not the ones in need if food. For comparison, I went to the Loaves and Fishes pantry in Prospect Park. I was 31st in line and was served 45 minutes later. Good evening Google family. I visited today for the Pantry. My first-time visiting the Pantry, but I have visited this church before. I waited 3 hours for the food. They give you a beeper and then you sit in your car and wait for them to call you. I received salads, meat, milk, vegetables and non perishable food. A win win experience. Open for business on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 am to 4 pm. But you can only go one day in the week. I was blessed by the outpouring of food. Everyone, the volunteers were so nice. They monitor people as they take the food. They place it in your bag for you. A good experience. Have a good night and don't forget to workout, be active and mobile, fit and Fabulous especially for people over the age of 50 years. Very helpful. Answered my question immediately.
