Candlelight Concerts definitely made up for the cancellation. The Drella Quartet was fantastic and location at the historic church awesome. I hope they add “One Vision” to their Queen set. Highly recommend going to one of these concerts. The Candlelight Concert-‘A Tribute to Taylor Swift’ was outstanding. What a wonderful atmosphere and the acoustics in the Cathedral were great! So relaxing with all the candles and lighting. The MC, part of the quartet, was excellent and made the evening even more engaging. What a memorable experience! Beautiful church. I’ve never attended a service. However, in 2023 I was homeless… my fellow ladies at my shelter brought me here for an outreach event they had, and had a lovely lunch. All the volunteers / spiritual leaders at this church gave me good vibes and made me feel normal at a time when it was easy to feel the worst I felt about myself. A special organization that stood out in my humble origin story of abruptly moving to Pittsburgh after becoming suddenly homeless. Big thank you to them! (Bonus: Stunning part of my Pittsburgh church core architecture photos) Beautiful scene of candles. Intimate experience and the music of Queen was great! The only thing I would have changed is offering the performance at a venue that offers tiered seating so the audience has a better view of the stage, candles and musicians. The performance of Queen was held at a church. The pews were a bit uncomfortable for an hour show. But it was nice and the musicians were great to listen too! This checked all the boxes for us. Affordable, beautiful venue, classic music, classical style, and relaxing vibe. Loved the personality of the groups into to the set. Very unique date we will do again.
