We had such a wonderful experience at Sacred City Church. From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and it was clear that this is a community that truly cares about people. The worship was heartfelt and the music was wonderful. The message was both encouraging and grounded in Scripture, offering practical insight that we could apply to our daily lives. We especially appreciated how authentic and relatable everything felt. What stood out most to us was the sense of community. People were friendly, approachable, and intentional about making newcomers feel included. It didn’t feel like just attending a service it felt like being part of something meaningful. We will definitely be back. I have been very blessed to find this community here in down town Providence while I go to school at Johnson and Wales University. They really care about having a strong community and have done so much for me. They have very Bible centered messages and the worship is always powerfully deep and encouraging. Sacred City Church is one of the most loving, welcoming community's I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. The church seeks to honor and glorify God in everything they do! When I first moved to Providence, I didn't know a single person in the city. I started attending Sacred City Church in January 2025, and from the moment I walked through the doors, I was welcomed in and truly felt like I belonged. The people here are genuinely kind, intentional, and eager to know you. One of the things I love most about this church is that the preaching and services are accessible to everyone, whether you've been walking with Christ for decades, you're a brand-new believer, or you're simply curious about Christianity and looking for answers. The gospel is preached faithfully, and there's a clear passion for God's Word. Sacred City Church also places a huge emphasis on community. It's incredibly easy to get connected through community groups and serving opportunities, and you'll quickly find yourself surrounded by people who genuinely care for one another and want to help each other grow in their faith. If you're looking for a church in Providence that is rooted in Scripture, passionate about Jesus, and committed to building authentic community, I can't recommend Sacred City Church enough. It has truly become family to me, and I'm so grateful that the Lord led me here! This church is full of God-loving and kind people. They welcomed me into their community while I was in undergrad. Their services were simple yet powerful. The sermons spoke to many challenges I faced as a young adult, and Pastor Van Sickle was always willing to answer questions and offer advice. Apart from their services, their weekly events helped forge community. I met several young adults that marked my life for the better. I thank God for this church in Providence.
