What visitors say
Pastor Mike is fabulous. He is accessible, engaging, self-deprecating, and speaks from the heart. A great communicator. And the congregation is a reflection of Mike… loving, warm and we have each others’ backs. Solid group here! The singing was very good and the sermon was meaty, challenging, and appropriate for application today. Jesus focused. Enough said We have been to many churches in Nashville/Franklin since moving here. But Journey is by far our favorite. Pastor Mike has been there about a year and he is so humble, and challenges people to think about the bible in the context in which it’s written. The church also believes in inviting everyone in for a discussion rather than preaching at you. We love it! Been going to Journey for over a decade. I’ve seen the church ebb and flow through many seasons of life. Different staff, different buildings, but the message and community has always impacted my soul. This is the place where I found true relationship with God and a real community. This is a church of authenticity, they value vulnerability and the word. Much of my healing was restored in and along side of this community. Couldn’t recommend enough. Amazing place. Good people and practical messages. They hold to scripture and deliver into the whole of the Trinity, not shying from one of the person's. They emphasize Bible, history, science, and humor. Several times there have been live question and answer services. Sometimes the answer is "I don't know", and they aren't afraid to admit it. Great place if you want personal relationships with the members, too.
