This congregation is thriving in a time when many churches are closing. It is filled with kind, caring, and loving people. We strive to be a congregation living by Jesus's example and accepting ALL people. We don't all agree--and don't try to. Theologically diverse. Politically diverse. Who said you can't talk about politics or religion? We can. And do. Thoughtful people, willing to listen to each other and care about each other. Differences accepted. Celebrated! Open and Affirming, which among Disciples of Christ means we welcome all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and questioning people. We say and mean: All means ALL! And that includes people who don't identify as Christian but want to belong to a caring, accepting community. We are serious about social justice and outreach ministries. Come see. You'll be welcomed! Growing open and affirming congregation with young Korean minister(fabulous preacher), wife and 3 adorable children. Variety of musical talent in the congregation. This is a wonderful community that lives by the motto “All means all.” The teachings of Jesus as represented in the gospels leads Eastwood Christian Church to be a place where all are welcome. Eastwood truly welcomes AND includes ALL. No exceptions. A loving community with GREAT messages and music every Sunday.
