It’s not a Christian church. Buyer beware. Having an associate pastor come on stage and say he’s not even sure God exists - absolute trash. As a Christian Gay man who is looking for encouragement, direction, conviction, and inclusion - it is apprehensible to even call this a Christ centered meeting. If I could give negative stars, I would. This is not a Bible believing church at all. They unfortunately don't believe that the Bible is the Word of God even though it is "God-breathed". Stay far away from this church. Progressive Christianity is not Christianity. This church conforms to what society says and not what the Bible and God says. Not Biblical. GracePointe is exactly what church should be. 1 John 4:7-8 (NIV) Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. I visited GracePointe Church for the first time this past Easter Sunday. The atmosphere was lighthearted and pleasant. I very much enjoyed the head pastor, Josh Scott's sermon and style as we worked through Mark's message of Christ having risen three days after his crucifixion. This is a progressive, diverse, and LGBTQ+ affirming congregation (approx. 40-50 folks by my estimate). If you lean traditional/conservative, GracePointe isn't likely to be your first choice. Conversely, if you lean left/progressive, you're likely to leave GracePointe finding it having been worth the visit! This church has become my family. I feel so blessed to have found this community, & truly have never felt more welcome in a church environment. They are doing something few churches are brave enough to do, which is stand for LOVE above all else. At GracePointe, everyone has a seat at the table. I can’t say enough positive things about this place, & will continue to tell everyone I know about it!!
