A small church with a big heart!! I’ve really felt the spirit of the Lord moving here! Pastor Jay is a passionate man of God, the community is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the coffee shop attached is adorable. I would highly recommend this church to the young and old, to new Christians and lifetime Christians. The Lord is waiting for you here! Hillcrest is such a sweet church with so much heart! Pastor Jay is such an engaging and fun preacher who also gets to the heart of a passage, and makes it applicable to our lives as Christians. The whole community is so kind and they will introduce themselves and make you feel welcome! Absolutely love it here!!! Hillcrest is a wonderful church! Pastor Jay is knowledgeable and interesting. He truly loves the Lord and His people! I felt very welcomed by the warm congregation. I look forward to getting to visit Hillcrest every week! My 20 something daughter is new to town and went to hillcrest on her own. The sermon/ message was relevant, inspiring and easy to understand. She will definitely be going back. If you are looking for a new church home give it a try! I started going to Hillcrest almost 3 years ago and knew immediately that this was IT. From the come as you are attitude to the messages from Pastor Jay Johnson. Each week..his words seemed meant for me and the way he connected the dots between what was written in the bible to being relative to today was what I was looking for. A few months later I got baptized at Hillcrest. This congregation isfamily. This Church and the leasons each Sunday have truly been life changing. Come visit. I think you will have the same experience.
