I've never been to your Church, and probably never will, but I thank the Second Saturday Ladies for their kindness most affectionately for the lunch and the compassionate atmosphere in the ICU waiting room. Just visited as we were coming through on travel and needed a place to worship. Very thoughtful lay out and folks were very nice. But what do you expect for Nashville, it's still a big city with a small town feel. We will go there again in the future and I highly recommend it for any family trying to find a new church home in the Nashville area. Teaches the bible, nothing more, nothing less. There are some great people at Woodmont. Have been attending there since I moved to Nashville. I am now looking for a new church home as they are, in my opinion, starting to stray from New Testament teaching. It was little things at first, but is just becoming more blatant to try to conform to the direction that the world is heading. Don't get me wrong, Woodmont has some amazing ministries and does great charitable works for the surrounding community. I am just not comfortable with some of the new focus and push from the ministry and choices that are being made. I attended Woodmont from 2013 to 2021 and it wass wonderful. It is a medium to large sized church that comes from the Church of Christ tradition. Despite it's size, it still feels like a tight knit, familial community. No church is perfect but it does a great job of trying to fulfill it's mission statement: love God, love each other, and love the world.
