Online has a 1300 service listed. Showed up at 1250 and waited. All yhe doors were locked. The 1300 service probably needs to be removed by the staff on the website before they cancel the time slot. Church of the City - Spring Hill advertised a 1300 service and then without notice canceled it. Public facing organizations need to do better when it is comes to canceling advertised times. There are plenty of tools and ways to communicate these items to potential new members. Felt welcomed upon entering the church. People saying hello to me that I didn't even know. The worship - God was present!! I cried. The head pastor was absolutely amazing. I was not distracted once... and I get easily distracted. Pastor here - kind of diverts with storytelling but gets back to the teaching - not a huge negative but I do need the Word poured into me. I already serve after only attending 3 weeks. We love being part of the COTC family of believers. Great community for us and our kids. They are plugged in and growing as well. We highly recommend if you are looking. Let us know if you’re coming and I’ll meet you at the door and show you around. Really upbeat serviced...Really enjoyed the baptism event The new pastor (2022) is a great teacher and worship is always good. There’s a lot of heart behind the scenes here. It’s not just a Sunday program, there’s a lot of work in and for the community. They have Celebrate recovery here on Tuesdays, and honestly City Students (middle school and high school) is superb. They really want to mentor the kids and not just build an epic program. No church is perfect but we have felt like this is a healthy church for our family. Grateful.
