We have been in north austin for 8 years, and bounced around to at least 20 nondenominational churches. All were welcoming & uplifting with relevant and scripturally based teaching. But we would worship for a few months and realize we weren’t making friends. That’s the difference in life church - we were invited by neighbors and have attended every week since. We are actually building relationships and looking forward to serving together. To us, this is what Jesus’ ministry was and what church should be. As a pharmacy technician and immunizer who works 10 minutes away, I was failed and disrespected by church staff. They said they wouldn’t baptize me privately. Instead, they make a huge show out of it with filming and posting on social media for everyone to see, including potential patients. I do not want patients mentioning my faith at work. I also love to sing, and the worship pastor failed to come up with a way to help me stay safe when serving onstage. Anyone in a licensed professional role should look elsewhere if they want their boundaries protected. Hello, I work in the plaza nearby, and during lunch breaks, several of my coworkers and I often park under the trees near the church for shade, especially during the summer. Recently, church security has approached our vehicles and told us we are not allowed to park there. We understand there may be parking guidelines, but the way we have been approached has felt unnecessarily rude and uncomfortable. We are not loitering, leaving trash, or causing any issues. We are simply using the shaded parking area during our breaks, as many of us have done for a long time. We respectfully ask that you review how this is being handled and speak with security about approaching people in a more professional and respectful manner. Clear communication is appreciated, but being treated harshly is not. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I thank Pastor Jacob for the invitation to Life.Church. We've been in search of a church that was warm, welcoming, not judgemental, and who genuinely loves to help one another. This is the church for us and for you! Come as you are, come as your dressed, all walks of life are invited. Today was first visit and i believe we found our forever Church. ❤️ Looking for a home church here in Schertz has been difficult. We have been watching Life Church with Pastor Craig for 5 years. So with over an hour drive to attend, I think we have found a home church I love!
