My family and I deeply cherish the Vine community. We have experienced genuine worship laced with meaningful conversations. The Vine, from what we have witnessed, is a safe place for all. This community has created an open welcoming environment for people in all phases of their individual faith journeys. We've experienced genuine true love and have forged authentic friendships, as we strive to follow Jesus together. We have been attending for 10 weeks now and have felt like part of the church since day 1! Love the contemporary style worship and the messages brought every week are practical and can be applied to our daily lives! Very diverse and affirming. Jesus is the main focus and love is abundantly given. We have been to all the events from BBQ, trunk or treat, bowling night and soon to come community chili cook off! You will not be disappointed if you are looking for a place to call home! A wonderful place to worship, make new friends and feel good and contemplate lifes journey. ALL are welcome. The Vine has been a refuge for me in a season of healing. After leaving a spiritually abusive church, I wasn't sure a safe church existed. But The Vine community continues to prove that it is. It's ok with my wounds, my doubts, and my questions. In fact, it welcomes them. I don't feel pressured to be any other version of myself but the authentic one. There's no cult of personality, no leader building his or her platform, no fog machine, stage, or light displays. Just humble people following Jesus together. It's been over a year, and now I can't imagine ever leaving. If you've been a part of a church that misrepresented Jesus and left you damaged in some way, The Vine might be the place that restores your hope that the church can actually be a safe, healthy place. I'm glad my friend invited me to The Vine. I've only been attending 3 months now but when invited to the Newcomers Dinner, I almost didn't go as I don't feel new at all. Everyone has been so welcoming and the sense of community is very evident. What a wonderful place to worship and be in His family. Even though I live in North Austin, it's well worth the trip! I've definitely found my home at The Vine.
